Bob New joins ASP with over 20 years of full-service bookkeeping and office management experience including being CFO of several businesses in Portland. He is a skilled consultant for small businesses, nonprofits and cooperatives, creating systems, solving problems and managing employees and volunteers.
Bob has worked with many nonprofits and cooperatives serving the community: Alberta Cooperative Grocery, Unlimited Choices, Inc, The City Repair Project, North Portland Tool Library, Interstate Farmers’ Market, Common Ground Wellness Center, Humboldt Meditation Services, Breitenbush Hot Springs, Neighborhood Health Center, Regional Arts and Culture Council (RACC), Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center, and Community Alliance with Farmers. Bob excels with transitioning small companies from spreadsheets, pencil and paper bookkeeping to QuickBooks and other online software and apps to suit a business or organization’s needs. He has coordinated the organization and reconciliation of backlogged transactions for many small businesses. Bob has a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting & Business Administration from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA. |
